Check out the images of Default Dan in this post to see the
new art work that I have been working on. The layout and assets are still very
work in progress and may change. If you are wondering how the art is done then
I shall reveal. The assets are modelled in full 3D then sculpted for their smooth
finish. Finally using a orthographic camera to render the art out to fit
into the crazy world of Default Dan.
For the seamless backgrounds I have coded a basic program into
Game Maker to test the tiling and see how the parallaxing looks with the various
layers.
